It is a widely known fact that millions of people worldwide suffer from hunger, malnutrition and starvation.
Even here in the States, millions of people cannot afford to provide food for their families.
516,000 Marylanders are currently living at or below the federal poverty level (Maryland Food Bank), many of whom must decide between buying food for their families or paying rent, utilities or medical bill
We provide food relief to the hungry and homeless in our society and in resource-restrained areas of the world.
In addition to providing food, we teach people how to grow their own food, so that they can feed their families and communities.
Feeding at Fatima Cottage Orphanage, Liberia- In 2011, we initiated a Feeding Program in partnership with the
orphanage management, feeding an average of 150 children daily.
Thanksgiving Outreach
On 2011 Thanksgiving day, we went into Baltimore City to
provide meals (and clothes) the working poor and homeless amongst us, giving them an opportunity to celebrate.
JHB Food Pantry
On the second Saturday of every month, members of the community are invited to the JHB Church premises to receive free food items
and hygienic supplies.
