    • It is a widely known fact that millions of people worldwide suffer from hunger, malnutrition and starvation.

    • Even here in the States, millions of people cannot afford to provide food for their families.

    • 516,000 Marylanders are currently living at or below the federal poverty level (Maryland Food Bank), many of whom must decide between buying food for their families or paying rent, utilities or medical bills.

    • We provide food relief to the hungry and homeless in our society and in resource-restrained areas of the world.

    • In addition to providing food, we teach people how to grow their own food, so that they can feed their families and communities.

Thanksgiving Outreach
On Thanksgiving day, we go into Baltimore City to
provide meals (and clothes) the working poor and homeless
amongst us, giving them an oppportunity to celebrate.

JHB Food Pantry
On the second Saturday of every month, members of the community
are invited to the JHB Church premises to receive free food items
and hygienic supplies. We provided free food and hygienic supplies
